Kavala's Local Action Group is taking applications for private investments in the rural parts of the prefecture, plus training and cooperation, until 18 December 2026. Grant rates, budget and eligible activities are set in the call package, which you need to read before applying.

Who can apply

Individuals and companies (existing or new businesses), collective bodies and public bodies, depending on the sub-action, for projects in the Kavala local-programme area.

What it pays for

Private-character projects (business investments), training and cooperation under the local LEADER programme. Sub-actions, aid rates and budget limits are in the call package (not confirmed by us). In the matching Pella and Karditsa calls the sub-actions cover processing, crafts, tourism and services, with 65% aid for business investments.

How to apply

  1. Download the call package from agrotikianaptixi.gr and contact the Kavala Development Agency.
  2. Check your area and activity are covered, and prepare a plan, quotes and permits.
  3. Submit online as the call specifies (LEADER 2023-2027 calls are filed on ΟΠΣΚΕ, opske.gr) by 18 Dec 2026.
  4. Follow the evaluation and results; once approved, carry out the project and file payment claims.

The call package is a .7z archive we could not open and the LAG's website blocks automated reading, so budget, sub-actions, aid rates, evaluation method and platform are not confirmed; sectors are inferred from the national LEADER sub-action menu seen in the Pella and Karditsa calls (which use ΟΠΣΚΕ and 65% for business investments). Only three LEADER private-investment calls of the 2023-2027 period (Pella, Kavala, Karditsa) appear on agrotikianaptixi.gr as of 17.10.2026; most other LAGs currently run public-works calls.
