Privacy Policy

In short: you don’t need an account, your choices stay on your device, and we only use the details you send us to help you. We don’t sell them.

1. Who is responsible

The details of the company that runs GrantFinder will be published here. For anything about your data, write to info@grantfinder.gr.

2. When you just browse

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and only shows us aggregate figures (for example how many views a page had, from which country and device type). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site securely and knowing which pages are used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. What stays on your device

The profile you choose on the home page (size, sector, region), your filters, the ticks in requirement checklists and your cookie choice are saved in your browser (local storage) so they’re there when you come back. They are not sent to us. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

4. Advertising cookies

We currently use no advertising or tracking cookies. If we add any, we will ask you first and update this page.

5. When you ask for a consultant’s help

If you fill in the “Get help” form, we receive what you enter: name, email, phone (optional), business name, region, size, sector, programme, budget and message, together with the language and the page you sent it from.

Why: to reply and suggest suitable consultants, as you asked (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Who receives it: a consultant, only after we tell you who they are and you agree (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). The consultant then becomes a separate controller of your data.
How long: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Email updates: only if you tick that box. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email or by writing to us.

6. When you become a partner

If you are a consultant and fill in the partner form, we use your firm’s and contact person’s details to discuss the partnership and check the firm (for example in GEMI). We keep them for as long as the partnership lasts and as long as the law requires afterwards, or up to 12 months if we don’t work together.

7. Who helps us (processors)

Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security, cookieless statistics and forwarding of emails you send to info@grantfinder.gr.
Google: storing form requests (Google Sheets / Apps Script) and email.

Some of them may process data outside the EU (for example in the US). In those cases the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object, and to withdraw any consent you gave without affecting what happened before. Write to info@grantfinder.gr and we will reply within one month. If you think your rights have been breached, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifisias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr).

9. Ranking without automated decisions

The programme ranking is calculated in your browser from your choices. We make no automated decisions about you and the ranking has no legal effect: it just shows you what to read first.

10. Changes

If anything important in this policy changes, we will say so here and update the date at the top of the page.
