Ειδική Υπηρεσία Διαχείρισης Προγράμματος «Ανταγωνιστικότητα», Υπουργείο Εθνικής Οικονομίας και Οικονομικών (Competitiveness Programme Managing Authority, Ministry of National Economy and Finance)
In plain words
A 40–60% grant, up to €3m, for large investments (€2m–€6m) by medium and large companies in STEP technologies or defence. It must be a new production activity outside Attica. Only a pre-announcement exists so far.
Who can apply
Medium and large companies (not 'in difficulty') with an eligible activity code, making an 'initial investment' — a new plant, diversification into a new activity, or buying a closed plant — in any region except Attica.
What it pays for
Machinery, equipment and vehicles (50–90%), buildings (up to 15%), software (up to 30%), wages of new hires (up to €300,000, 100% as de minimis) and, for medium firms only, studies, certifications, patents and trade fairs. Rate: medium 60% (STEP) or 50% (defence); large 50% (STEP) or 40% (defence), always within the regional aid map limits.
