LEADER Imathia – 1st call for private business investments (P3-77-4.1)

Grants for small businesses investing in rural Imathia: 65% for units that process farm and other products and for forestry units, plus separate actions for crafts, tourism, services and energy or water saving. Businesses still being set up can apply. Applications until 14 Jan 2027; they are scored and ranked.

Who can apply

Existing or new micro, small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals who will set one up, investing in the Imathia LEADER area: 65 local communities of the Imathia regional unit plus the areas outside the town plans of Veria, Naoussa and Alexandreia (the towns themselves are not included). Other bodies can take part in cooperation actions.

What it pays for

Setting up, extending or modernising units that process farm products (eligible budget up to €400,000), non-farm products and forestry units (up to €300,000), with 65% aid. Purely intangible projects: up to €20,000. It covers machinery and equipment, buildings and installations, land (up to 10% of the budget), studies and technical support (up to €4,000). The sub-actions for crafts, tourism, services, energy/water saving and cooperation have their own rates and caps in the call.

What must be true for you

• The investment must be in the Imathia LEADER area (not inside the Veria, Naoussa and Alexandreia town plans)
• Micro, small or medium-sized business (existing or being set up) or an individual who will set one up
• SME declaration, de minimis aid declaration and viability study, using the call's templates
• Own contribution for the rest of the cost (35% for processing)
• No offshore companies or businesses in bankruptcy or liquidation

How to apply

1. Read the call on anhma.gr and contact ΑΝ.ΗΜΑ. to check that your area and activity are covered.
2. Prepare a business plan, viability study, quotes, permits and property documents (usually with a consultant).
3. Log in to ΟΠΣΚΕ (app.opske.gr) with TAXISnet and choose the Imathia LEADER call.
4. Submit by 14 Jan 2027.
5. Wait for scoring and ranking; object if needed.
6. Once approved, carry out the investment and file payment claims.
