2026 Compensatory Allowance (P3-71) – yearly payment for farmers in mountain and less-favoured areas

A yearly payment for farmers who farm or graze land in mountain, less-favoured or island areas: up to €122.20 per hectare in mountain areas and up to €89.90 per hectare elsewhere. You claim it through the 2026 Single Aid Application, by 30 October. Up to 30 hectares are paid, with reductions above 20.

Who can apply

Active farmers (individuals or companies) with land in designated mountain, less-favoured or specifically constrained areas. Individuals must be adults still in active work: up to 67 without an old-age pension (some exceptions), over 67 only if still paying insurance contributions.

What it pays for

Action 1 (mountain areas): up to €122.20/ha/year. Action 2 (other areas with natural constraints) and Action 3 (areas with specific constraints, e.g. islands): up to €89.90/ha/year. Full rate up to 20 ha, 80% for 20–25 ha, 50% for 25–30 ha, nothing above 30 ha. Advance of up to 75% before 1 Dec 2026; payments 1 Dec 2026–30 Jun 2027.

• Keep the declared land for the whole year
• Follow conditionality (cross-compliance) rules and accept inspections
• Individuals: no old-age pension up to age 67 (exceptions apply)

How to apply

1. Check whether your parcels lie in an eligible mountain or less-favoured area.
2. Submit or amend your 2026 Single Aid Application on myAGRO (myAADE) with TAXISnet codes, or through a declaration centre (ΚΥΔ), agronomist or accountant, and select intervention Π3-71.
3. Finish by 30 Oct 2026.
4. Keep the land all year and follow conditionality rules.
5. Wait for the advance and final payment from AADE.

Deadline

You apply together with the 2026 Single Aid Application (ΕΑΕ/ΟΣΔΕ) on myAGRO. The call says the deadline follows the ΕΑΕ deadline, which was extended to 30 Oct 2026.
