Who can apply

Independent European audiovisual production companies based in a MEDIA country with experience of similar-sized projects. Three categories: animation, creative documentary, fiction.

What it pays for

A fixed amount based on total production budget: €70,000 for works up to €500,000, €300,000 for €1.5–2M, €500,000 for €3–10M, €1M for €10–20M and €2M above €20M. Up to 36 months.

How to apply

  1. Read the CREA-MEDIA-2027-TVONLINE call document and choose your category (animation, documentary, fiction).
  2. Gather financing contracts (broadcasters, platforms, co-producers) covering at least 40% of the budget.
  3. Create an EU Login, get a PIC and prepare the application form.
  4. Submit on the Funding & Tenders Portal by 10 Feb 2027 or 15 Sep 2027, 17:00.

Two deadlines: 10 Feb 2027 and 15 Sep 2027, 17:00 Brussels time (40% of the budget in the first, 60% in the second).
