Grants of up to 65% for small-business investments in rural Ioannina and Thesprotia (not in the city of Ioannina): processing, forestry, crafts, tourism and services. Businesses still being set up can apply. Applications from 20 Oct 2026 to 4 Feb 2027.

Who can apply

Individuals and existing or new businesses investing in any community of the Ioannina and Thesprotia regional units, except the municipal community of Ioannina. Other bodies can take part in the cooperation and 'smart villages' actions.

What it pays for

Indicative budget and aid per sub-action: farm-product processing €480,000, non-farm processing €200,000, forestry €120,000, crafts €400,000, tourism €720,000, services €320,000 — all up to 65%; cooperation between local businesses €40,000 (up to 90%), cooperation of local bodies and 'smart villages' €40,000 each (up to 100%). Eligible budget up to €300,000 per project (up to €400,000 for farm-product processing) and up to €20,000 for purely intangible projects.

  • An individual or an existing/new business whose activity fits one of the sub-actions
  • Own contribution for the part of the cost that is not subsidised (at least 35% for business investments)
  • The eligibility and selection criteria in Guide III.B.2 of the call
  • De minimis cap where it applies: €300,000 of state aid per 3 years

How to apply

  1. Read the call and summary on the ΗΠΕΙΡΟΣ Α.Ε. page (epirussa.gr) and ask the LAG whether your area and activity are covered.
  2. Prepare a business plan, quotes, permits and property documents (usually with a consultant).
  3. Log in to ΟΠΣΚΕ (app.opske.gr) with TAXISnet and choose the Ioannina–Thesprotia LEADER call.
  4. Submit from 20 Oct 2026, 13:00, to 4 Feb 2027, 15:00.
  5. Wait for the evaluation and results; once approved, carry out the investment and claim payment.

Online submission on ΟΠΣΚΕ only, from Tuesday 20 Oct 2026, 13:00, to Thursday 4 Feb 2027, 15:00. Paper applications are not accepted.
