EIT Urban Mobility – up to €2.5M investment in urban mobility startups

European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) · EIT Urban Mobility

EIT Urban Mobility, Κοινότητα Καινοτομίας του EIT (EIT Urban Mobility, an EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community)

In plain words

EIT Urban Mobility invests up to €2.5 million in startups with solutions for getting around cities, alongside other investors (it does not lead the round). It is for companies already raising a pre-seed, seed or Series A round. It is not a grant: it takes a stake in the company.

Who can apply

Startups based in the EU or a Horizon Europe associated country that are raising money now and have a prototype, pilot or MVP in: urban logistics, shared mobility and public transport, mobility data, electrification and alternative fuels, health and mobility.

What it pays for

A co-investment (equity) of up to €2.5 million in the current funding round, alongside venture funds or other private investors.

Research notes: Call page lists cut-offs for 2026 (23 Feb, 18 May, 31 Aug, 16 Nov), 2027 (11 Jan, 12 Apr, 30 Aug, 15 Nov) and 2028 (10 Jan, 13 Mar); the call page itself gives 16 Nov 2026 as the current deadline (checked 17/10/2026).
