Who can apply

Private businesses anywhere in Greece. Participants are unemployed people aged 30+, with emphasis on long-term unemployed (24+ months), women, 45–64 year-olds and Minimum Guaranteed Income recipients.

What it pays for

DYPA pays the participant €704 net a month (€32 × 22 days) directly, for 6 months of work experience in your business, 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. The business receives no money but does not pay the allowance. Maximum participants per business, by staff size: 0–3 staff: 1, 4–9: 2, 10–19: 3, 20–30: 5, 31–50: 8, 51+: 20% of staff (max 20).

How to apply

  1. Log in to the gov.gr employer-participation service with TaxisNet credentials
  2. Express interest: specialty and education level of the role
  3. Work with the local DYPA office (KPA2) to choose the participant
  4. Host them for 6 months following the programme rules

Sources we read

Research notes: Announced by the Ministry of Labour on 03/11/2025: about 50,000 places, €220m, ESPA 2021-2027 Human Resources & Social Cohesion, 6-month placements in private businesses, employer applications until the budget runs out. A 10/09/2026 press report lists it as still running ('over 45,000 positions'). Title is descriptive (no formal title in the release). DYPA's programme page (public call 14/2025 of 06/11/2025; ΦΕΚ Β' 5801/05.11.2025) shows 'Ανοιχτό πρόγραμμα' on 17/10/2026 and gives the participant allowance (€704 net/month, paid by DYPA) and the per-business placement limits; the business must not have cut staff in the month before applying. Priority groups: long-term unemployed (24+ months), women, Minimum Guaranteed Income recipients, ages 45–64.
