ΕΥΔ Προγράμματος «Αττική» – Περιφέρεια Αττικής, με Ενδιάμεσο Φορέα τη Γενική Γραμματεία Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας (Attica Programme Managing Authority – Region of Attica; intermediate body: General Secretariat for Research and Innovation)

In plain words

A grant for a research project your company runs together with a university or research centre in Attica. Projects can be up to €400,000 in total and mainly pay researchers' salaries. You need a research partner and at least one full year of closed accounts; proposals are ranked against each other.

Who can apply

Existing companies active in Attica with at least one full closed financial year, teamed up with at least one research organisation (e.g. a university lab or research centre). According to the Region's announcement, large companies can also take part.

What it pays for

Pays salaries of researchers and technicians for their time on the project, plus a flat 40% on top for other costs. Topics must fit Attica's smart-specialisation strategy (RIS3): materials/construction/industry, agri-food, environment/circular economy, life sciences/health/pharma, transport/logistics, digital technologies. Per the Region's announcement: industrial research up to 80% (micro/small firms) and 65% (large); experimental development up to 60% and 40% respectively. Projects last up to 36 months.

Sources we read

Research notes: Official call (Απόφαση 2089/29.09.2026, ΑΔΑ per filename Ψ0ΙΛ7Λ7-ΤΞΤ) confirms: budget €17m public expenditure (MA may over-commit), max total project budget €400,000, firms ≥40% of budget, ≥1 closed fiscal year, GBER 651/2014 art. 25, staff costs + 40% flat rate, up to 36 months, OPSKE submission 06/10/2026 13:00 – 28/01/2027 15:00, comparative evaluation by ΓΓΕΚ. The call text defers maximum aid rates to section 7.2 of the analytical call, which could not be read in full; the 40–80% range (IR 80% micro/small, 65% large; ED 60% micro/small, 40% large) comes from the Region's press release of 02/10/2026 as published by CNN.gr, and matches GBER art. 25 with the effective-collaboration bonus. Seat/branch-in-Attica rule and 'max 2 applications per firm' are also from that press release; the official page says the project must be carried out in Attica. Amount fields left null: €400,000 is the total partnership budget, not the grant a single firm receives. Research organisations are co-beneficiaries. About 50 projects expected.
