Green modernisation of existing tourism businesses in the Ionian Islands

The Ionian Islands Region is preparing a €20m scheme to help existing tourism SMEs become greener. The official plan places the call between October 2026 and January 2027. Amounts, rates and deadlines will be announced with the call.

Who can apply

Existing tourism SMEs (fewer than 250 staff) in the Ionian Islands Region (Corfu, Lefkada, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Zakynthos, etc.).

What it pays for

Investments that make a tourism business more environmentally friendly. Exactly what it pays for, and at what rate, will be set in the call.

What must be true for you

How to apply

1. Watch pepionia.gr and efepae.gr for the pre-publication and the call.
2. Get your tax and social-security clearance, financial statements/E3 and operating licences (e.g. MHTE number) ready.
3. Collect supplier quotes for the green investments you have in mind.
4. When it opens, apply online on the platform named in the call. ESPA 2021-2027 state-aid calls are normally submitted on OPSKE (app.opske.gr) — to be confirmed by the call.

Deadline

Not published yet. The Managing Authority's official plan (June 2026) places it between October 2026 and January 2027.
