Job-retention subsidy for fur-industry businesses (DYPA)
DYPA resources · Job retention (Article 79, Law 4949/2022)
Δημόσια Υπηρεσία Απασχόλησης – ΔΥΠΑ, Υπουργείο Εργασίας και Κοινωνικής Ασφάλισης (Public Employment Service DYPA, Ministry of Labour and Social Security)
In plain words
For fur-industry businesses that put staff on suspended contracts in 2022–2025 because of the effects of the war in Ukraine. For 24 months DYPA pays the employees' social-security contributions and up to €550 a month of their net pay. Afterwards you must keep the jobs for another 12 months.
Who can apply
Private businesses and employers in the fur industry (as defined in Article 79(1) of Law 4949/2022) that, between July 2022 and September 2025, suspended at least once the contracts of staff hired by 31 May 2022. It covers full-time or part-time employees who worked for the business on 17 Oct 2025 and still work there at the time of inclusion.
What it pays for
For up to 24 months: all social-security contributions of the covered employees and up to €550 a month of their net pay (part-time: up to 100% of net pay, again capped at €550). The subsidy includes the Christmas and Easter bonuses and the holiday allowance.

Research notes: DYPA programme page shows 'Ανοιχτό πρόγραμμα' on 17/10/2026; applications opened 21/01/2026 (time not stated). Budget up to €12m from DYPA's budget (announcement). Retention aid for existing jobs, not new hires, for businesses hit by the consequences of the war in Ukraine; aid under de minimis Reg. (EU) 2023/2831 or agricultural de minimis Reg. (EU) 1408/2013. The programme page says employees must be on staff on 17/10/2025 and on the date of inclusion; the launch announcement says on the date of application — check the public call (PDF not readable by our tools). The eligible ΚΑΔ list is attached on DYPA's page but was not read, so the sector tags (manufacturing, farming) are an estimate. No location limit is stated. No per-worker total is given because contributions vary.
